About the Naptown National Challenge

Established 2016

The Naptown National Challenge and Exposure Showcase were founded in 2016 by Hall of Fame Coach Dave Cottle and Matt Hogan of HoganLax.

The tournament brings elite, nationally recognized, club teams from across the country to Annapolis, Maryland to compete in a three-day event comprised of two tournament days at several field locations in the Annapolis area, culminated with a championship event at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium. Championship games for all four high school divisions are televised on ESPN3.

The Naptown National Challenge remains a destination for the nation’s top lacrosse teams to compete against the best of the best. Naptown’s level of competition has drawn the attention of hundreds of college coaches and partners with NextPro to offer players high-quality game film and highlight footage to boost their lacrosse careers.

The event expertise of Legendary Sports Group and HoganLax, augmented by the support of quality partners like longtime title sponsor, Lexus, makes the Naptown National Challenge the summer destination for the country’s strongest competitors.
